Artist's Comments

Cover art for the upcoming Peter & Company Collection book. The scene depicted here is one of the more important moments in the overall P&C story. What exactly is going on? You'll have to pick up a copy of the book to find out.

The book will include the first 100 comics from the online series (with the full-page comics in color instead of grayscale), plus an additional 9-page exclusive color comic. Final prices for the book:

Paperback - $29.99
Hardcover - $39.99

The book will be available for purchase through Lulu.com. I will post the buying links once I get the proof copy from Lulu and approve the final print. It should be within the next week or two, if things go right. Stay tuned.

Awesome looking cover art.

If I was to take any guess to what just happened, it would be when they first met... but I'm fairly certain I'm wrong.

I absolutely love this drawing! Somehow seeing them bigger makes them seem more real to me. You know I am stealing this from you when we get home right?

I also think it was the perfect choice for the cover art because it's just a quirky little scene and it lets you see the main characters up close.

Good work Jon, looks good as always. Though some constructive critique if your interested. The P and C are always really great for the look and feel of the series but the rest of the Upper case fonts don't much up, glaringly so. On top of that you've used auto kerning and someof the characters don't align very well on the text either. But The over all image is great, also pull the title a bit to the left, would work with spreading the eye across the page.
